Where Are Breath Trailers Made?
Breath Trailers are designed in Sydney, with partner-sourced chassis and components. Our Sydney team handles final fit-out, testing and handover.
Breath Trailers are designed and specified in Sydney, Australia. Our chassis and major construction components come from a manufacturing partner. The Breath Trailer team in Sydney completes the final fit-out, electrical connections, testing, preparation and customer handover.
Design, component manufacture and final fit-out are separate stages. We do not describe our campers as “100% Australian made”: the work completed in Sydney does not mean every part is manufactured here.
Below, we explain the role of our Sydney team, how the core components are sourced and what you can check before ordering a trailer.
What does the Breath Trailer team do in Sydney?
Design and specification
Our Sydney team leads the design brief, model layouts, storage, equipment specifications and available options. These decisions take into account Australian roads, towing needs and camping conditions.
During your consultation, we work through your chosen model and configuration. You can compare the Essential, Plus, Ultra and Max before discussing the equipment and options for your own trailer.
Final fit-out and electrical connections
Once the core trailer and components arrive, our Sydney workshop completes the final fit-out and finishing. This includes selected accessories, fixtures and interior details.
The team also completes the electrical connections, including the 12V system, charging setup and solar connections. The equipment fitted depends on your model and selected options, so your confirmed specification is the reference for your build.
Testing, preparation and handover
Before handover, the trailer goes through testing and a pre-delivery inspection. At handover, the team walks you through your trailer, its systems and its maintenance.
For more detail, read how we test every trailer before delivery and what happens before a trailer leaves our Sydney workshop.
Who supplies the chassis and construction components?
Breath Trailer sources its chassis and major construction components through a manufacturing partner. These components form the core of the trailer before the final work is completed in Sydney.
The manufacturing partner’s role is distinct from the Sydney team’s design, fit-out and preparation work. During your consultation, we confirm the current equipment list for your chosen model and options.
Components and accessories vary by model and option package. Ask us for the current equipment list for the configuration you are considering, rather than relying on a photograph of a different build.
Are Breath Trailers Australian made?
We describe the process as Sydney-led design and specification, partner-sourced chassis and construction components, and final fit-out, testing and handover in Sydney. We do not describe the trailers as “100% Australian made”.
If the specification of a particular component is important to your purchase, raise it during your consultation before placing a deposit. A workshop visit lets you see the local work; the component specification helps you understand what goes into the trailer.
What can you check before ordering?
Use your consultation or viewing to connect this explanation to the trailer you intend to buy:
- Your model and equipment list. Confirm the chassis, body, electrical equipment and accessories specified for your configuration.
- The work completed in Sydney. Ask the team to explain the fit-out, connections and checks for that trailer.
- The trailer’s identification and documents. Ask to see the VIN, trailer plate and approval details, and compare the recorded specifications with the trailer you are considering.
- Support after handover. Get the warranty terms in writing, including what is covered, where work is carried out and any transport arrangements.
