Breath Trailer offers a one-year warranty against leaks where the endcap ends and the roof begins (roof line). Roof line begins above the rear hatch and continues forward on both sides to the beginning of the molded recess for protective material (e.g., diamond plate).
WARRANTY
This warranty is granted to the original owner only and is not transferable.
The one-year warranty excludes, but is not limited to:
Leaks associated with damage, misuse, and modifications of Breath Trailer products.
This document outlines the terms and conditions related to the purchase, use, and warranty coverage of trailers manufactured and sold by Breath Trailer. By purchasing and using our products, the customer agrees to the terms outlined below.
CLAUSE 1: WARRANTY PERIOD AND COVERAGE
Our trailers come with a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. This includes:
1.1 Structural Components: Frame, chassis, and body.
1.2 Electrical System: Wiring, battery system, solar panels, and lights.
1.3 Plumbing Components: Water systems including tanks, pumps, and showers.
CLAUSE 2: WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS
The warranty does not cover:
2.1 Wear and Tear: Natural deterioration from regular use.
2.2 Accidental Damage: Damage caused by collisions, improper handling, negligence, or misuse.
2.3 Modifications: Any structural or component alterations made post-delivery.
2.4 Heavy Off-Road Use (Strictly Excluded)
Any use of the trailer in extreme or harsh environments falls outside warranty coverage.
This includes, but is not limited to:
severe or continuous corrugations
deep potholes, washouts, rock steps, or ruts
rough creek beds or uneven surfaces
loose rock, shale, or deep mud
soft sand, bull dust, or terrain requiring recovery equipment
remote areas where recovery or support services are limited
These conditions place abnormal stress on chassis, suspension, electrical components, internal cabinetry, and structural joints, and are considered misuse under this warranty.
2.5 Water Crossing & Submersion Exclusion
The trailer is not designed or warranted for:
river or creek crossings above hub height
any submersion of chassis, hubs, seals, or cabin
fast-flowing water
beach or tidal areas where saltwater may enter components
situations that expose the electrical system to water
Damage caused by water ingress, flooding, immersion, or any water-related conditions is not covered by warranty.
CLAUSE 3: STRUCTURAL DEFECT ASSESSMENT
If a structural issue arises during the warranty period:
3.1 An independent insurance assessor or qualified expert will evaluate the trailer.
3.2 The evaluation may take several weeks depending on complexity and assessor availability.
3.3 If confirmed as a manufacturing defect under normal, intended use, Breath Trailer will assume responsibility.
3.4 Based on findings, we will either:
repair the faulty component(s), or
if unrepairable, offer a suitable alternative solution.
3.5 Refunds are not provided under any circumstances.
CLAUSE 4: CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
By purchasing and using a Breath Trailer product, the customer:
4.1 Confirms they have read and understood all warranty terms and exclusions.
4.2 Accepts that heavy off-road use and water crossings are performed at their own risk and void the warranty.
4.3 Understands all claims require expert assessment and may take several weeks.
4.4 Agrees that no verbal agreements override the written warranty terms.
CLAUSE 5: SUPPORT & CLAIMS PROCESS
All warranty inquiries must be submitted through our official support channels. To initiate a claim, customers must:
Submit detailed information about the issue
Include photos or videos of the damage
Allow physical inspection of the trailer when required
CLAUSE 6: ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS
Any costs related to transport, accommodation, towing, or recovery resulting from a warranty claim are the purchaser’s responsibility.
Warranty does not apply to products used for rental or hire.
Warranties are valid from the original date of purchase.
All warranty work must be performed by Breath Trailer–approved representatives with written authorisation.
The original purchaser is entitled to repair or replacement for a major failure under Australian Consumer Law.
WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS (ADDITIONAL)
Tyre wear and tear
Paint wear and tear
Colour fading from sun or water exposure
Consumables such as batteries, bearings, light bulbs, etc.
