The short answer
Breath Trailers are designed and specified in Sydney. The chassis and major construction components are sourced through a certified manufacturing partner. Final fit-out, electrical connections, testing, preparation and customer handover are completed in Sydney by the Breath Trailer team.
We do not describe our campers as “100% Australian made”, because that is not what they are. In Australia, country-of-origin claims are governed by the Australian Consumer Law: a “made in” claim requires the product to undergo its last substantial transformation in that country. We would not meet that bar, so we describe exactly what happens instead and let you judge.

The chassis, shell, running gear, windows and electrical hardware are specialised components from specialised manufacturers — true of essentially every camper on the Australian market. Breath Trailer sources its core parts, including the chassis, through a certified manufacturing partner.

How we test every trailer →Support
When something goes wrong, you contact the team that specified your trailer, completed its fit-out and tested it. That team is in Sydney, at a physical address you can visit, and can look up your specific build.

Every new trailer supplied to the Australian market at or under 4,500 kg ATM requires Commonwealth approval and entry on the Register of Approved Vehicles, built to the applicable Australian Design Rules. Ask any manufacturer for the approval details before you pay a deposit.
Ask to photograph them. The compliance plate carries the manufacturer, build date, ATM, GTM, tare weight, tyre specifications and the formal ADR compliance statement. Everything on it is checkable.
Take the ATM, subtract the tare, and you have the total weight you are permitted to carry — water, gear, accessories, everything. Do this before you buy.
Who honours it, where the work is carried out, who pays for transport, and what voids it. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law apply regardless of what any warranty document says.

The chassis and major construction components are produced by a certified manufacturing partner to Breath Trailer specification. Final assembly, fit-out, electrical work, testing and handover are completed by the Breath Trailer team at our Milperra workshop in Sydney.
